Love this hotel. The rooms and lobby are pretty. The restaurant atmosphere is great too, but a bit too many mosquitos in the evening. The staff is very polite and helpful. The location is not the best as the alley is not that picturesque, but it is what it is.

We felt very luxurious when we entered the hotel. Although I had no chance of touring the whole hotel, the entrance is beautiful. We chose the big room which was lavish plus and it was really amazing. It had big space for everything. And the place was so quiet anyone could easily meditate very calmly.

This is a very nice quite new hotel. Great service, large rooms (although most of them lacking a view), great service and good food. Excellent swimming pool, which doubles as a lap pool. It is located on the East side of the city, so within easy close access to both airports. Also next door to a large intl hospital, where you have access to McDonalds and other “Western” restaurants. The main issue is the location. It seems to be located on a sort of an enclosed area within Bangkok, so it you want to visit the tourist sites, it may take you more than an hour on the road. So you are forced to use the Sky Train, which is a good option, but which does not take you to every relevant place. It is a good location for shopping (and there is red district near by, I have been told)

Positive feedback: -/ reception staff are very friendly and helpful -/ porters are very polite -/ restaurant staff also very polite -/ convenient locations with lots of local eateries and massage joints -/ next to a hospital with a bank inside Not so great sharing: -/ i was arranged room S105 which is facing the hotel shop front. As my window faces exactly the car pickup drop off area, I do not feel comfortable to open the blind at all, meaning I have no day light throughout the whole stay -/ there is a pillar right in the middle of the room which is so unacceptable and unbelievable for a hotel room. Only one person can walk through the room at one point. -/ the sound from the above floor is crystal clear and I can hear all the foot step sound day and night time -/ today it’s rainy outside and there is strange smell in the room which i think is caused by the sewage?! -/ the bathroom shower water pressure is weird, it’s slow and fast randomly and the shower head is swiveling on and off I understand ad lib is a 4 star hotel, it looks wonderful from the outside, but you need to keep up with the room infrastructure as well. And i made my room booking 5 October, which is more than 3 months in advance, I would expect a room which is better than S105

Excellent three night stay for our first time in Bangkok. Only 7-year-old hotel, so everything feels new. Lobby and restaurant very modern, airy, and tropical feeling. Booked lush plush room in north building: very private, good layout, my partner felt foam mattress needs replacing. Pool was very welcome with the heat. Food pricing is predictably high hotel restaurant pricing. Included breakfast pretty strong. Service impeccable. Location not close to palaces and temples. Better location for shoppers, and adjacent to hospital.

The hotel itself is clean and spacious with gorgeous decorating. However, we had a rocky start to our stay(the staff were very rude at check in and during the first few days). However, after speaking to management, things seemed to improve. I still wouldn't rate five stars, but I appreciate the effort during our final few days to improve the quality of our stay.
